Artist's Description
An old spiral ornamented staircase. One of my biggest passion are the staircases. Especially the ones in abandoned, forgotten buildings. Spiral, triangle, oval ones, damaged, dirty,broken... This one was found in an old building in the centre of Budapest (Hungary). I was lucky to carry my tripod and wide angle lens since the staircase itself was dark, so I could set up a longer exposure time without losing the quality. The wide angle lens helped me to catch the whole image without combining few photos together which might be hard especially with architectural photos.
About Jaroslaw Blaminsky
For many years I was working taking photos of the musicians shows, concerts . Sadly after many years I found myself going routine and decided to make a big change. Now I am very happy taking photo of different subjects, things that I like, find interesting , visiting many new places and exploring areas I couldn't do before when I was working with pression. I love to take photos of architecture (especially staircases), macros, still life compositions. I am always willing to try new subjects and I feel very happy If I get nice results in something new to me.
